Default Camshaft position sensor - NEED ADVICE

2000 C70 coupe keeps throwing 0014 code - tried two sensors from salvage yards - car does fine but after 15 - 20 miles it idles very poorly and eventually throws code - put old sensor back in and it does the same - bought car a few months ago and have thrown lots of money in it for other issues and am at a loss about this
ANY help would be greatly appreciated!!!

the P0014 code indicates an issue with the cam's timing - could be the sensor or more likely in your case the VVT gear and actuator. Search for some of the posts talking about P0014 or CVVT cleaning.
