Dashboard compass wrongness
Bought a compass to set on my dashboard. Worked fine in my home, but in the car it insistently points West. This generates 2 questions.
1. Is there some sort of magnetic pole in a Volvo engine?
2. If a dashboard compass functions fine everywhere EXCEPT on a car dashboard, why the hell do they make them?
