Default Wheels and tires

I have just purchased my first Volvo 2012 S60 T5 FWD, the car has 235/45/17 tires on it now. I would like to put 195/60/16 tires on for winter .5 mph difference (slower) in tire size.

My question is about the wheels and the offset. My car is a 5/108 with 40 offset, what size Volvo has the same size in a 16 inch wheel. The local dealer says they do not know and are of no help. Local tire companies only want to sell you expensive wheels and tires that are not much narrower than what I have.

We get a lot of snow in Maine and some roads don't get plowed well during the storms.

Thanks for the help in advance.

I got a set of Michelin Pilot Alpins from SimpleTire.com awhile back. Really good all-season tire at a good price -- pretty sure they 're gonna have them in the size you need.
