Default Dead batt

New battery replaced. After 10 days no juice. Had to recharge. No parasitic drain. Voltage reads 14.1 while running. Is this enough to keep batt charged?

My S70 used to do this. Took me awhile but here's what happened TO ME (maybe not you however). The trunk button on the fob is easy to hit and trigger, the trunk unlatches but doesn't pop up, if it's up just a hair the trunk light comes on killing the battery in a few days. Problem is, you can drive forever without realizing that the trunk is open and sometimes it is closed enoufg to not turn the light on. Lift your trunk lid. Turn off trunk light or remove the thing.

Default Brake light switch

On my 98 S70, the brake light switch went at about 180,000. Apparently there is a spring in there that's supposed to keep it open unless you are depressing brake pedal. That can fatigue over time and switch can close on it's own.

The switch wasn't closed most of the time though, so this was a PITA to find. After a month of trouble, I finally found out because I came out at 2:00am to get something out of car one night by chance and saw my brake lights on.
