So driving along its a hot day 29c, car had a little judder then further down the road more judders like it was stalling or slipping (dstc was off cause why not) then 2 messages came up "anti skid service required" then I believe "engine service required". Car went into limp mode and wouldn't accelerate at all I mean 10mph max. Pulled over turned it off waited a minute then started it, errors disappeared and it seems to be okay? Any advice would be great cheers.

 

next step is to have the car scanned for stored OBD2 fault codes and go from there. Most likely you had a set of misfires and possibly an issue with a speed sensor or something related to the anti-skid (speed sensors/abs/TCU input/steering angle sensor etc) or a voltage event (sudden drop in voltage can cause a happy meal of trouble codes and you need the codes to figure out next steps. Just because the car reset itself out of limp mode doesn't mean the problem went away.
