I have a volvo c30 on a 59 plate, coming out of work today i put the key in the egnition and went to start the car. 2 messages came up, 1 saying anti skid service required and the other saying immobilizer please try again. After about half an hour the car started and both the messages went off. The same thing has happened again tonight. Can anyone advice what this might be and what i should do?!,

 

Usually that means CAN bus issue. But for these cars CEM sometimes cause this behaviour or loose socket. Check all sockets on it and clear them if necessary.
