I just picked up my new XC60 recharge extended. When I negotiated the price for the car, I agreed to get an extended warranty (which is supposed to extend the factory warranty), for 9yr / 100K miles. The dealer specifically told me this was a Volvo warranty, not a 3rd party thing.

I saw my paperwork and it appears that the warranty contract says Horizon Portfolio Protection on it, no where does it say Volvo (other than the Selling Dealer).

Is this normal? Is this considered a "Volvo" warranty? Or some 3rd party nonsense?
