I have a 2006 Volvo S40 2.0D that requires a new fuel pressure control valve (at least that is what the mechanic thinks I need). However, I am getting conflicting information from two sources. One mechanic tells me there is only one fuel (related) pump but another tells me the S40 has two pumps. Does anyone know how many fuel related pumps the S40 has? In any case, can I just purchase the fuel pressure control valve without buying the whole pump.
