My 2015 XC 90 glove box is jammed When I press the release button I can hear it working but it stays closed! I think it stuck on something ( my wife handbag was put in just before this happened. Any ideas?

 

The following remark(s) aren't a solution, so much as an addition to the complaint, 'glove box problem'. Mine won't shut, drops right back open, but if I turn the **** on it the other way, then it will stay shut. This plays out loudly as a 'lube the spring setting' issue, so the box will shut when you slap it back. But who wants to disassemble that stupid little ****, so one can see where it's sticking, and more than likely, just lube the situation? Just a VOLVO nut, that's who! JUST CLEAN IT? No that's too simple, but probably the answer, plus a little WD 40.....maybe.
