I have lived about 35 miles from an all Volvo salvage yard for several years. The guy has decided to retire and I think this will be the last week I can purchase parts from him. He dumped the cars he had for sale and hopefully he will give me a good deal on the parts I need tomorrow. Please wish me the best...

 

Good luck, maybe you could buy it and take over....Like the crazy old cat lady in every neighborhood but with Volvos. But seriously go clean em out and get what you need

 

OK, I went to the Volvo bone yard to get some parts, here is how it went, other than me getting heat stroke:

• Auto tranny for my wagon.
• Rear hatch for my wagon.
• Rear bumper support brackets.
• Ambient temp sensor.
• Interior switch lights.
• Drivers side door mirror.
• Tail pipe extension.
• Roof Rack.
• V70 Roof trim pieces.
• Tail lights, all 4 (one new in box).
• S90 drivers door mirror, x2.
• S90 dome light, x2.
• Spark plug cover.

And the damage was.............................................$3 65.00.

If anyone needs parts, he may have some for a few more days, weeks, etc. Send me a pm and I'll go get it. The place is about 37 miles one way and I can usually pack and ship stuff for you. He as cars from 200 series through mid 2000 S40, S60 and S80's. Some parts are NEW IN BOX, real Volvo parts (OEM). PM me and do expect shipping charge. I forgot to get myself a couple of O2 sensors. Gas is $11.10

 

I could NOT resist so I went by the inde Volvo shop today to see what else I could get my hands on and decided to pick up a "rear main seal".

The guy was selling all of his new parts between 30 - 50 cents on the dollar. I got everything I think I will need for the next 3 years. LOL Oil filters, Lusas gas treatment, timing blet, rollers, and the list goes on... I hope I use this stuff because I sure spent the $$$.
