Gurgle and vibration when turning or cold
I have a 2005 s40 t5 awd with a problem. I first noticed it during slow right turns uphill. It makes a gurgle/vibration from the right side. Checked all steering and suspension components and all are shipshape. Including tie rods, cv joints, sway bar, control arms, etc. Through some testing I noticed that if I put it in drive left foot on brake right on gas, 1500 rpms, no motion, I can recreate it by turning right There seems to be a vibe through the axle. It doesn't seem to do it when turning left or atleast as I can tell.
To further obsfucate, it will also do this when below 34 degrees and no turning just straight driving. This made me think fluids. But they're all topped off.
I'm def thinking tranny or differential since it won't do this in park, neutral or reverse. Only drive.
Anyone have any clue?
