Haldex service - intervals

Haldex service - intervals
Considering a V90 T6 AWD fitted, I asume, with a Haldex series 5 system (or a Volvo variant thereof. I did some searches on the Haldex systems - my takeaway: latest model (5) differs from earlier versions in not having a filter for the hydraulic fluid that operates the multi-plate clutch that id the heart of the system. The point is made in several discussions that the absence of a filter makes regular fluid change imperative with a recommended 13K mile interval.
A current maintenance schedule on the Volvo site calls for oil/filter changes at 16K miles interval (plus, of course, the customary $150 15 minute "walk around, look and poke" inspection and windshield cleaning) but nowhere is Haldex service mentioned!

No response here but I looked in the Swedespeed forum - 24 pages of posts on the topic. It appears that Volvo deems the hydraulic fluid in the Haldex system to be a "lifetime" fill. All the information from Haldex and other marque service recommendations differs. Has Volvo come up with a "magic potion" that will last forever or are they counting on (a) the AWD will rarely be called into action by soccer moms on smooth suburban roads and (b) if issues surface it will be past the warranty period and thus not a problem but an "opportunity"
