Default Hazzard Light Problem

Good Morning
I have just purchased a Volvo C30 SE LUX D3 Automatic 2012
Had the car delivered and it had a flat battery also delivery driver had to jump start it to get on truck and said hazzard lights won't turn off
I have charged the battery, car drives perfectly but I cannot turn off the hazzard lights
They come on and off by themselves intermittently, could be on for 10 mins then stop then back on for another 5 mins, stop for 5 mins and back on again. when parked
Also stay on when car is started up
Hense the dead car battery I suppose
I have unplugged the switch for them on the dash between the vents thinking it was a faulty switch but they still flash
Any ideas what could be causing this as I have had to disconnect the car battery for now so not to flatten it again overnight
Any info would be greatly appreciated

It could be your alarm module flashing the lights - have you tested the alarm to see if it works?

Yes I pressed the panic button on the key fob and alarm goes off very load
And turns off but hazards stay on
Changed the battery in key fob too
Went for a short drive yesterday they stopped flashing for a while but started flashing again whilst I was driving so came straight back and disconnected battery. First I have taken out every fuse one by one to see if they stop on both engine and glove box fuse boxes as cannot find anywhere, where it says which fuse is for the hazard lights or alarm
Also took out the relays one by one to see if they stop
Nothing
Thank you for suggestion appreciate it
driving me mad

The panic button and the alarm are two different things. To test the alarm - roll down drivers window. Stop, exit and lock car. Wait 10 seconds. Pretend to brake drivers windows, reach in and open door from the inside handle - alarm should go off.

A common failure of the alarm module on earlier cars will cause your symptoms - not sure if the same is true for your series. You might try disconnecting the alarm module if you are guessing - Most later Volvo you can investigate what set the alarm off the last time - using a compatible scan tool.
