battery always die
Hi,
I want to start off by saying that my battery is fine. Every morning my battery is dead. So naturally I suspected a battery drain. After charging the battery I disconnected the positive cable and connected a test light between the positive battery cable and the positive post on the battery but the test light did not light. I opened up the door and the test light lit up showing a draw from the battery (from the dome light). I closed the door and the test light went off.
Can a short only occur after the car sits for a while? I'm at a loss.
One more piece of information. This all happened when my transmission up light started flashing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure your battery is dead? Do you check to see if your lights or horn work, maybe it is your PNP switch and it is not allowing the engine to crank.
Also check your main ground for corrosion.
