HELP!!!!clueless how to separate the O2 sensor connection
If there is a release on this electrical connector i dont see it-----------I've spend 2 hours sticking things everywhere hoping to just get lucky and stumble upon it and no luck----------this is an 01 S60-------CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO GET THIS CONNECTION APART.---IM GOING TO COME BACK AND POST PICTURES OF IT. Thanks
Last one I did was on a '98 S70 back around 06. But I remember it fairly well.
I assume you have discovered that you really need to remove the wheel and attack it from the wheel well. Little flap there that you may have seen and wondered why it was there, now you know.
There IS a latch that you need to release between the two connectors, it was fairly obvious from the side. The two connectors come apart quite easily then.
Honestly, it's one of those things that drive you nuts then once you get it you find yourself saying "That was easy....."

do you have the new sensor? that should give you a clue as to how the two parts mate. Did you figure this out or snap a pic? PS we've all had a similar experience at one time or another. Mine was doing an ECT sensor. Didn't see it until I flipped it over.
