Hi everyone.. I have a hissing sound ( vacuum leak ) when I release my brake pedal. With a stethascope I've listened and the hissing is coming from the passenger-compartment side of the brake booster. Any Ideas how much this is going to cost to replace at the local dealership, or can the boosters be rebuilt?

Why go to the dealership? Why not go to a local mech you trust.

 

Brake boosters are NOT cheap. It will cost you close to a grand. It is not rebuildable and does need replacement.
