Hi there, my wife and I just bought a 2013 XC60 at an auction and I don't trust the auction's judgement on what the car has and doesn't (for one they called it an R-Design but it has none of the right visual indications). How would I go about finding the original specifications/options that came on the vehicle? I know Audi has a special email address where they will tell you anything about your car that your heart desires, is there similar for Volvo or a VIN decoder that I'm missing that would help?

There's a vin decoder on this board - go up top to the Tools pull down. There's other decoders online, simply google "Volvo VIN decoder" and you'll see what you get. You may need to drill a bit into the engine and chassis codes that back. Any Volvo dealer parts department can probably do a look up for you as well.

That decoder tells me quite a bit more than I knew before, appreciate pointing that out

 

I don't know of any VIN decoder that shows all the options. The dealer parts department can get you a much bigger list than any decoder. You likely wouldn't need all that info though.
