Hi, can someone please help? Engine turns over but will not start. Checked error codes onboard diagnostics. Terminal 2 flashes 1..1..1, seems ok? Terminal 6 light glows faintly when ignition is switched on goes bright when test button pressed then goes dim again when button released NO flashes. At the same time the ignition is switched on there is a buzzing/arking sound from the distributor. Testing the spark plugs by earthing shows a faint flickering spark when ignition switched on but nothing when engine cranked over. Incidentally, engine does not attempt to fire even when towed. Car had been idle for a few weeks and started no problem, then had to try a few times before firing for 2 –3 days. Now wont start at all.
