How to make Volvo busses a more attractive choice for public transport companies?
Hey guys!
I have a school assignment I figured you could help me with.
The main question is how Volvo could adapt their bus business in order to become a more attractive to the city of Berlin. Any ideas?
At the moment Volvo busses only make up about 4% of the city of Berlin's bus fleet. BVG the company running the busses in Berlin claim they prioritize environmentally friendly busses and efficiency, something a lot of the different bus producers focus at. The last ten years BVG has primarily bought busses from Mercedes Citero and Solaris Urbino. What do these busses have that Volvo does not have?
What do you think Volvo should do to become a more attractive bus supplier to the Berlin city traffic?
