Seems like this applies to you...

http://www.tintlaws.com/laws/WA/

But many will go with darker, 15% all around, 5% stripe on front.

Use this...

Man, you have the WORSE tint laws in the country. I wouldn't tint at all. At worse, go with 35%. I just went with 35% on my 960 and it's dark enough for me and easy to see in and out. 70% Is like a clear UV protection.

I have 20% on my T-5R and I have been pulled over and ticketed (warning) for the tint.

If you put anything on it, be prepared to LIE YOU *** OFF and ask God for forgiveness later. You will probably have to tell them it was on there when you purchased the car and you didn't know it was out of regs. Be nice and act like you admire the freeking PoPo.

it says in the regulations that 70% of light must come through, so that means the highest i can go is 30% tint? and 50% in the back? this tinting thing is a lil new to me so someone can please explain all the numbers to me?

They have tint laws in Kentucky. The guy I use will not tint anything other than KY legal. He puts a sticker on the drivers door that certifies that it is KY legal. Never been pulled over.

in PA, the law is 70% of light must be able to pass through which would be a 30% tint- meaning it blocks 30% of the light. i believe this should be more than enough. i had what i believe was 35% on my last car- at least thats what the cop measured the ONE time i was pulled over in the 5+ years i had it. go with whatever your state says and you will be good.
