I'm new to Volvo, actually drive an 89 turbo Dodge minivan. My old neighbor (80) has a silver 1986 740 turbo automatic that he will sell me (HE was the only owner) but I do not know what is a fair price range and either does he. It is in good shape, not great, but he says its runs great...I've ridden in it but was not paying attention then to how it ran. It has 150,000 miles.

Before I look the car over, I'm hoping some folks here might help me with a price range. Also any tips/problems for looking the car over and trim bonuses to look for. Perhaps I will become a Volvo owner and a regular part of this forum. Oh, how hard and expensive are parts to get?
