Default I need the club's help

SO.....I've finnaly got a budget/account set up for my personal use...i.e. working on my cars. It's not enough to get that 5.0 I want to throw into the 240 or any of the other parts needed, but it will be some day. (and it's plenty to start doing more stuff to the cavalier). The 240 I've got is in great working order but that's hardly the point since just about all the working parts are going to be replaced...except the body. Here's my dillema. The onset of rust has poked it's ugly head through in a few choice locations. It's not enough to worry about just yet but by the time I'm realistically able to finish this project up it will be. I'm not really inerested in making this into a show car per say but at the same time I don't want the frustration of my O.C.D. nit picking attention drawn to the fact that it "isn't perfect."

My opptions as I see it are to suck it up and build up my current 240 OR sell it and when the time comes (admittedly a few years down the road) find a new one from down south or somewhere they don't use salt on the road...stupid Minnestoa. I'm trying real hard not to pull in outside factors into the equation but the fact that we need a new washer and dryer isn't making this decission any easier. Where as we don't need the money to do so...it would be significantly more efficient to use the money from the Volvo in this venture. I'm also concidering the fact that if I were to sell my 240, in the future when i look to replace it I won't need a working engine....just a really good looking car.

I need yalls help on this one...I've been strugling with this decission for years now and now that I have a third car I don't actually need the Volvo around. It'll still be a few years before I can really bite into this project (both money and experience are a factor) and right now it's just sitting there, only getting driven when I go mountain biking. If this were your car, what would you do?

The Bad part of the hole thing is even alot of the southern car sare starting to rust as well.

In the end hopefully you can find a good one.

The Main thing that I would look at and make my decision off of is.
1.Is the floor board under the Seats rotting out?
2.Is the Rear Quarters rotting out?
3.Is the roof rotting?

Then I would make a decision off of that.

Right now I have 4 cars total and the Stang is just sitting in the garage collecting dust waiting for the new parts to be installed.

hmmm....I think I'm going to sell it while the selling is good. I don't want this car in my garage for three more years collecting dust. It's just going to make me impatient. Out of sight, out of mind right?

on that note...anyone interested in a 1991 Green Volvo 240 Wagon? LMAO!
