I have a 2004 S80 (38,000 miles, but out of warranty) which the dealer (Volvo of Dallas) says needs about $2,000 of front end work - T-mount, strut pads and control arm bushings.

They showed me all three, and it does appear that things are too loose.

However, I'm wondering if someone can recommend an independent service location in the DFW area that will do a good job but not charge dealer prices.

I had this work done at European Auto Tech in Plano for about half what the dealer wanted. They also have a shop in Dallas.
