I've got a 2000 c70 with two working remotes but both of the cases are busted. I've got a new/used volvo remote and rather than go through the programming rigamorole I was wondering if anyone has try to transfer the working guts of one remote over to a solid case? (I'm also open for any DIY programming tricks/tips). Thanks.

 

There is no reason why you can't transfer the innards to a new case if it is of the same type.
