LEATHER STEERING WHEEL KIT QUESTION
i have a leather steering wheel kit that i have to sew on. my question is if when your trying to sew the thing on and you can't make the ends meet what do you do?
i tried to pull as tight as i could, but this leather isn't stretching at all.
thanks

Find a kit that has a lager piece of leather. My experience is that they never look as good as the picture on the package. I would just leave it alone and not bother putting it on at all.
you know what i ended up doing? i just cut the nasty factory leather off the wheel and it's backed by foam. then there is rubber under that, so i put the skin over the rubber and i can get the seam to meet now. when i'm done i'll show pics cause it's a b*tch to sew on and i already broke a needle

like this one?....yeah that would be alot easier to just get this one and swap it out ;[ only thing is i'll have red stitches when i get done. lets see how it goes.
The R one is different than that one. Well atleast the R wagon we had at work the lower half had the swade leather like my car has.
I wonder if this can be made to fit!!!

yeah Tech, i like that one alot, but what would i do with those buttons on the wheel? i'd have to delete them or cover them somehow.
Call or e-mail them and check. I would see if they know if the splines are the same as well to be 100% sure.
Man if I was working I would pull one off and try to make sure.
