Has anyone tried using the LED replacements, for bulbs like Brake or Turn Signals?
If so, have you needed to add the Load Resistors, or change out the blinker modules?

I have a 2004 V40, and it is starting to burn out bulbs.

If it's starting to blow bulbs maybe there's a reason for it ?
Bad alternator or regulator, or just old bulbs.

One of the first things I did when I got my 850 was to replace all exterior bulbs.
Cost about Au$100 including headlight bulbs.

 

I think they are just getting old. The Amber color is flaking off the front turn bulbs. I am looking at LEDs more because of my geek tendencies.

 

I just replaced all of my lights in my car with LED's. I had no issues with anything. The only thing you really have to watch out for is sometimes they need to be inserted a certain way, otherwise they will not illunmiate.

Yes the LEDs are forward-biased and if reverse-biased they will not illuminate.
