Hi guys, well i've had the car a few months...i'd keep an eye on the fluid levels...last time i checked the coolant level was maybe 3 weeks ago. We went away this weekend..the car drove well, temp guage was at 1/2 way mark (normal i guess). This morning i went to start the car and got a warning message...COOLANT LEVEL LOW, SHUT OFF ENGINE!, so i did and went to check right away..it was low...between empty and the LOW lovel mark. How can this be? the engine ran well, the idle was fine and temp was right on. I know i'm due for an oil change (5000km on the clock, regular oil), i checked my tranny oil, it's a little dark-brownish and the car only has 63 000km on the clock! is there something i should look for? i'm going to the dealer for an oil change on Wednesday.thanks

Tell the dealer exactly what happened and ask them to do a pressure test on the cooling system and also to test for combustion gases in the cooling system.

Thanks i will do...on the off chance, could a faulty/stuck thermostat give the same result??
