Need Volvo repair shop

Need Volvo repair shop
The sticky doesn't seem to be taking off that lists Volvo repair shops. I have a 94 Volvo 850 in need of repair and it's more than i can do. I live across the river from Omaha, NE. There is a Volvo dealership in Omaha, but I know I can save some bones if there is a "non-dealer" repair shop. I may need some tranny work as well as maybe some valve work. Anyone have any ideas? I've called lots of shops saying they work on any foreign cars...except Volvo. Please help...i want to drive my baby again!

RE: Need Volvo repair shop
Hi,
Sorry about your difficulty.
In general, if you'd like to avoid dealers, finding a shop that specialises in Swedish/European makes is the best bet. Unfortunately, I have not lived in NE so I don't know what shops are available there.
Do some research at the following:

Also post this question in the 850 forum rather than here; this is a general topics area and is somewhat dismal.

Good luck,
