i have been thinking of buying a brand new volvo ant thoughts on what is the best car for a family and has good preformance ??? any ideas will be helpful

 

You say family. Kids? pets? Do you need a lot of room? I would look into the V50, XC70 wagons first. Then the XC60, XC90 next. If you want performance then you want a T5, or 3.2, or 3.2T.. The C30 and S40 are small for families. C70 also. S60 and S80 are very nice cars also. My dealer now has an 08 XC70for $8,000 off the sticker! Already own a Volvo? Loyalty rebate on the XC70 is another $2,000!!! Plenty of deals out there. Volvo has come a long way since the old 240 boxes. Tom

 

Are you looking for new or used? if used is okay, i'd say xc70 or, V70 or even an 850...i find that the older models (wagons) tend to have more room than the newer cars and in my opinion, are a bit more reliable....g'luck.
