OBD jumper wire repair
Hello,
I have a 1995 850 turbo and the jumper wire has broken off inside of the module. Has anyone opened one of these up before to repair this? Just curious so i don't make matters worse.
Thanks in advance for any direction on this.

I had a similar problem and simply used a paper clip to connect the probe to the module whenever I need to read out. There's also a way to make your own LED reader/push button connecting to the interior port (unfortunately I haven't saved the link). As a plan b you may want to see if any recycle yards or people parting out an 850 can pull the module from a donor.
Thanks for the advice. The paper clip seems like it will work, however since I wrote this I have found an OBD II port under the coin holder by my shifter. Maybe I can get a scanner and do everything I need from there. Who knew the car had both. Thanks again for the advice.
