He guys, I moved my car out this morning and saw a small puddle of oil on the ground. I checked underneath and found there was oil around the oil filter canister. I had to change the oil anyways, the oil filter canister was tight and the oil was good.

What would cause oil to leak out of the canister?

How often do you drive the car? How long was it sitting?

 

A major change in the car's surface temp due to excess heating or weather conditions may be the reason, that oil leaked out.

 

I drive the car daily, unless its really nice I take the scoot. I really wish my car payments were near the end, I would walk away from Volvo or at least this one
