Howdy folks, just droppin in since we got a new Volvo in the family. 2001 v70 t5 auto. High miles 170k but seems well taken care of, no wrecks, regular service records intact till the last couple years- No dents or rust either. Only issues I see are the leather seat bottoms are splitting, pass side more seriously. It's got a humin the front end that quiets down at 60 mph, Im 90% sure its a drivers side front wheel hub/bearing. One last thing, that is a bit worrisome- every once in a while, when passing a car on the road, when I really try to get the car to move it just fails to shift and the rpm winds up without transferring to the ground, It will grab once I let off the accelerator a tad.. seems like it finds a sweet spot and starts to operate as it should.

Any tips?
