Thumbs down Overseas Delivery Program and Dealer Fees

I received our dealer invoice for a '17 XC90 that includes at $499.00 processing fee. This fee was never discussed or disclosed on our order Volvo corporate order confirmation and the dealer invoice says it is due when we pick up the car at our local dealership after the car is shipped back to us in the States. No prior mention by Volvo corporate or by the dealership, even though we talked about sales taxes being due upon pickup from the local dealer.

Any insights you can give me are appreciated. I am a puzzled, which is a polite word to use right now.

When I used Aliexpress for my small business, there were no problems with the delivery. But right now we have a lot of qualified companies who perform the work no worse than UPS. With the tremendous implementation of machine learning into the logistics, the tracking codes became much more technologically advanced, so customers can track any package at any time. If you are delivering a lot of products, it would be better not to save a lot of money on such advancements, since competitors on the market of logistics lose a lot of customers because of the black holes in the tracking systems.
