Default Parking assist sensor relocation?

I would like to be able to relocate the rear parking assist sensors (XC-70) to the back of a cargo carrier. Anyone have suggestions?

Unfortunately it won't be easy, and probably not possible.
Most all factory reversing sensor systems use a plug in harness and this will be too short.
Aftermarket systems will be similar.
Unless you can find patch cables to extend the sensor cables, or are prepared to match teh wire running to the sensors and extend them by soldering in extra wire, it's not possible with what you have.
However, an aftermarket system could be installed if the distance to the rear of teh carrier is not too great.

Regards, Andrew.

Hmm, sounds like patching in extension wire would be the thing...Doesn't sound impossible, but I'll need to enlist the help of my brother in law, aka super electrical/computer/science tinkerer guy.

Thanks, Typhoon

If anyone has done this, I'd love to hear from you, too...
