Ever since I bought my 2005 V50 T5 AWD, the indicator overhead told me that the passenger airbag is off. How do I turn it back on, for my fiancee's safety?

 

I believe you have to go to the stealer to have them do it for you. Some people have them turned off for child seats.

 

u need to have a passenger seating on the front passenger seat (need to be over 65 pds) w/the seat belt on, then w/the key on, wait for a few seconds, the warming light should come off. if not, then there may be a fault in the system.

Yes, the light does go off after a while (with, or without, a passenger) - I would like it turned back ON. But, based on RSPI's comment, UGH!
I'll check with my mechanic, because he used to work for Volvo
