I have and XC90 2008 and a 9 year old. She is above the height/weight requirement stated in the book of 47 inches. She would love to ride in the front passenger seat. The car does not have a shut off button, but the passenger air bag off on the windshield rearview mirror does not light up. Does this mean she is safe to ride in the front seat? Does it only light up if the occupant is underweight for the seat? I have only occasionally notice that it lights up if packages are on the seat, for example. This does not seem to light up all the time.
