2003 C70 lt convertible, pass. door will not lock. will not lock with remote or door switchs or using key in drivers door. When open and locked alarm will not sound. Lock button will go down. Checked all fuses. Alarm works when trunk opened in alarm mode.

sounds like the actuator in the door has gone bad, if the door is not locking or unlocking the actuator has in fact gone bad....google volvo parts and you will have an array of part distributors, go to their site and use your vehicle information to find your part in need....going to the dealer for that item is way to expensive you can however call the dealer and tell them you want a price and when they give you a price ask for the part # then go to any of the distributors and put that part # in the search and your part will come up! hope this helps and please repost your findings whether it is in fact the actuator which I believe it to be!
