I recently had a tail light go out in my 97' Volvo 850 (non turbo) and I have since replaced it. However, the indicator light still flickers on for awhile when I use my break. But when I actually go to stop to take a look at it, it no longer lights up (so strange). I've had a few people check the lights out and they say they are working. So what could my problem be?

If the dash light comes on when you press on the brake, there is likely a brake light out. If they are all working, then there is an improper bulb installed.
