The 4.6 MM WEDGE BASE lamp , dont know the W number but can be found under philips and others and confused with the 5MM #74 lamp almost the same size but doesnt fit sockets. Sometimes found as E74 but not sure. Not alot of info on this lamp atleast in my searches. Also to make it worse Volvo puts the same 4.6mm lamp in a small plastic housing for use in the ashtray lighting.
Bad enough a .41 cent lamp goes for 2.50 each under Philips let alone its counter part #74 cost .41 cents. So i clipped the leads on the old lamp in the plastic housing and soldered in a #74 and i have a ashtray light again.

Anyone have futher info on this European 4.6mm Lamp number ??
