I have a Volvo with 177k miles on it. The car is misfiring and needs to have one of the coils replaced. I purchased the coil at the dealership as i want to do the work myself. Any guidance would be very much appreciated.

 

There is a plastic cover on the top of the motor. T-30 screws
Remove that and the coils are held in with a 10MM screw.
If one went bad be prepared for the rest to go bad soon.
