we can agree to disagree, cause as far as i know, cause i used to run with the DSM crew, all DSM tranny's will fail sooner rather then later.
But to be honest if your gonna go DSM GSX is the way to go. resale is better then most, but those things are bought to rag on. food for thought.

Yeah thats what im likely going to do. You guys ever on Mitsu Forum? Im Sebba.. .like the third highest poster lol.
Well a stock DSM tranny i can see going pop.... but a TRE race tranny... naaah.
I can get forged pistons, forged rods, race head, knife edge crank, intake, exhaust, boost controller, EVO III 16g turbo, race tranny and transfer case, DSM link etc...
All together about 15k in parts alone... and they are going for like 7-8k. Thats a bargain. Thats a fully built race car

That's a lot of money to put into a DSM, which I think has questionable reliability....
Just curious though, what do you Mitsu guys think about the RippMods supercharger? They used to make one for the Camry, but nobody bought them lol.

Well for 7-8k.. getting a 350+hp car isnt all that bad. Not to mention, your not the one doing the mods or anything... so it doesnt cost you.
Also, 90% of them have the 6 bolt swap.. no crankwalk

well just remember when getting a car, if it sounds to good to be true, it more then likely is. a reliable 350 hp car for 7-8k is either a once in a lifetime deal, or a lifetime headache.

Yeah im pretty confident knowing my way around DSMs.
I can usually tell the quality of work and if the car has been beaten on.
Im not talking about a one off either... i see loads that are fully race built for 7-8k. Its common.
