I just bought a 1999 S70 Volvo that has a gold cross bar accross the front grill. I have never seen anything but silver cross bars before. Has anyone else ever seen a gold bar?

 

Good gosh a'mighty - I remember when everything from Auroras to Lexus' (Lexi?) and Mercurys to Yugos had a gold trimmed imitation pimpmoble in the line-up. But I've never seen a Volvo with that stuff.
Visit a local salvage yard or order another grill from IPD quick, before you get the urge for a fluffy dash and zebra skin seat covers.

Other than that, nice looking car! Bet you'll love it.

 

I like the grill but I may have to tone down that red a little. In the bright Florida sun it is blinding.
