I am retiring my 99 V70 and replacing her with 98 S70. The wagon has the euro rails roof rack and I am hoping to salvage/modify it to fit my S70. Anyone try this? Can it be done? I'm hoping that when I remove the old rack, the ends will come out and I can trim the rails to the shorter roof.

Any experienced wisdom on this idea welcome.
