S80 2.4 Oxygen Sensor Coil Wiring
My Pre Cat Oxygen Sensor heater went open circuit, however when I replaced this I still had a P0135 and now a P0130 error code.
On investigating I found that for the first few seconds of the engine running, I had 13volts across the heater coil, followed by erratic voltage fluctuations and then it fell to 0volts. Without the heater coil in circuit from the heater connector again it started at 13volts but then went to 6volts. From 12volt battery – ECU relay – I have checked to be OK, but I cannot chase the earth side of the circuit. The Haynes Man (that’s if this can now be considered as a manual) gives no information for any Emission Control System.
Can any one advise me of any control circuitry on the earth side, or if it is due to a bad earth connection.
