Default s80 check engine?

okay, i traded my 02 s40 in on a 2001 twin charged s80 t6.... i was exited at first, a little nervous too... after about an hour of drivin it the check engine light pops on and is reading dealer specific. my s40 read the same at one parts store and read thermostat at another.... the same store said dealer spec. on both. the car is running fine altho it seems to be running rich when the light is on. it went off today for about an hour and came back on. the car has 117k on the odometer, there are no leaks and the turbo's seem to be boosting properly, im not an expert but i kno there is an underlying problem somewhere..... the question is where?..... if anybody knows anything that could help me finger this out i would be extremely happy!!!!! thanks to anyone who can help.

You need to find a scanner that reads the codes to be able to know where to start looking.
