shaking and noise

Default shaking and noise

i own a 96 850 GLT and it shakes when i let off the gas and hit the brakes but only for a second then when i coast it shakes sometimes but sometimes it doesen't and i think its getting progressively worse also when i back up in the morning i get a hard click from under the driver side fender any help on the matter would be great thanks

Sounds like Motor mount to me too.

hey thanks i just got the car and i have done some small stuff wiring and brakes stuff like that is the motor mount a hard repair could i do it myslf or would i have to take it to a shop or get a cherry picker???

Doesn't look too bad. I've never done it though. Here is a link on how to do it, if it's the front mount:

I would not hesitate to do it myself if mine was bad after reading the instructions.

Make sure to get the right parts for that front (pax-side) mount, as there are 2 different mounts.

Some mounts seem simply bolted on the subframe, while others seem press-fit. FCP Groton carries them all, I think.
