Sliding Noise in My 2010 V50
Hello,
I have noticed a sliding noise coming from the passenger side of my car when I stop abruptly or accelerate quickly. It seems as though it comes from the under carriage at times and other times it sounds like it is inside the door.
It seems as though I've tried everything. Looked under the seats, removed all items from the center console, glovebox, and side doors. I recently (today) had the car inspected and they said it was the control arm but that has not fixed anything.
The Model is a 2010 V50 with 35K on it. If anyone has a solution, I would be so appreciative.
Thanks.

One recall item on the pax-side seat; probably not related to the issue:
2010 Volvo V50 Recalls, Defects, & Problems
Visually check the underside of the car (if you can do so safely) and look for loose object/rubbing marks. Also make sure the exhaust pipe is not loose.
Post this in the 2010 V50 forum as well. Once the trouble is solved, a moderator will merge the two posts.
