smashed my s80 and I am in need of some advice
So I hit the back of a stopped bus last week (yeah, I know, smooth move), and I am looking to get it fixed without going through insurance and had a few questions for those more knowledgeable than I.
First off, what are your general impressions of aftermarket replacement parts like rad supports, fenders and hoods? Second, would it be better to get a used part than aftermarket? And then the final question would be, would it be better to repair the damaged part then get an after market.
Oh, BTW, I have a new link for the aftermarket list.
I found an aftermarket fender and rad support at Cross Canada - http://www.crosscanadaparts.com/cgi-...nada/index.htm and the prices are pretty good
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
BTW, if you have HID lights on your S80, try not to damage them. Dealerships want $1349 CAD for a new assembly.

I am not a fan on aftermarket parts.. A lot of times they are ill fitting and dont fit right or can leave gaps that are not consistant with the rest of the car. I would rather get used than aftermarket, IMO.......
