hi everybody, need help again Please!
Have a V70 W Reg 2000 Classic with the above Problem.
SRS AIRBAG LIGHT Won't go out
I have taken it to my local garage, but upon investigation with Diagnostic Computer, cannot resolve the problem.
have been told this can be caused by something as simple as moving the seat backward or forward?
I am also told this is an MOT Failure.
Any help or suggestions Please?
Many thanks for help.
Regards
Paul

I believe VIDA goes back to 2000. You will get more specific help from a DiCE / VIDA scan than from a generic OBD2 scan.

This means either a dealer, a dedicated Volvo shop, or a DIY Chinese Clone DiCE unit.
Then you can take the needed action to clear the fault. After that, VIDA can clear the SRS flag.

Well, ES6T, it may seem like it 'doesn't just come on for no reason', but mine suddenly came on the other day (for no known reason - I haven't had an accident, or done any work on car, or had any issues). Not only that, the light comes on when my seatbelt is on, but GOES OUT when I unhook seatbelt! I know that makes no sense, but that's what its suddenly doing. For no known reason.
If you have any suggestions, that would be great!
