I have a 89 volvo 740.my steering wheel move back and forth when driving.Need help on how to fix this

 

Back and forth when braking? Or when rolling, or when your foot is on the gas? If its when braking only, it's likely warped rotors, or if its pretty bad it could be sway bar end bushings or ball joints. If it happens all the time it's more likely tire balance needed or even a tire with an out of round issue. As a caveat, I'm not a Volvo expert (yet) and I'm new to this forum, but I do know cars fairly well. Start by looking at the simple (rotors and tires) and take it from there. Hope this helps.
